Note that the Open RN brand, textbooks, and related resources will all be maintained and sustained through WisTech Open. General Updates

• 📘 Nursing Pharmacology OER Textbook:
  As of December 15, 2020, there are 22,000 national and international users of the Nursing Pharmacology e-book, with over 44,000 sessions completed since June 1, 2020. Nearly 1,000 affordable print copies have been sold, and 413 users have downloaded the free edited PDF from XanEdu.
• 🛠️ Nursing Skills Textbook Development:
  Development has been completed. The textbook will be piloted in WTCS courses in Spring 2021. A national peer review will take place in February 2021, with final publication scheduled for Summer 2021.
• 📘 Nursing Fundamentals Textbook Development:
  Currently in development. Peer review is planned for Spring 2021, and both digital and print versions are expected by Summer 2021.
• 🎬 H5P Learning Activities:
  H5P activities based on AR simulation videos continue to expand. The Open RN YouTube Channel has over 38,000 views and 180 watch hours.
• 🧑‍⚕️ Virtual Reality Collaboration:
  A VR prototype scenario titled “Cardiac Medication Administration” has been created for first-semester nursing students. It can be used with Acadicus and Oculus Rift S for full immersion or delivered via Zoom for remote participation. A corresponding H5P version will be ready for pilot use in January 2021.
