Bio
Ashley McHose is the Instructional Design Librarian at WisTech Open, where she partners with faculty as a strategic consultant in course design, open licensing, repository curation, and educational technology integration. With over a decade of instructional and library leadership experience, Ashley is a dedicated advocate for academic freedom and student affordability.
As Library Manager at Lakeshore College, she served as project lead for the system-wide Medical Terminology textbook adaptation and co-chaired the college OER program, saving students millions in textbook costs. She holds a Master of Library and Information Studies from McGill University and a Bachelor of Arts from UW-Madison.
