Bridget Bell

Bridget Bell is a Writing and Communication Instructor at Gateway Technical College. She has taught at community colleges for over 10 years. She has served as assessment coordinator and Teaching and Learning Fellow at Gateway for the past 4 years, where she has advocated for OER practices and resources for students. She received her masters from DePaul in Writing and Publishing in 2012. Bridget Bell is currently working on her doctorate at NIU in Leadership in Community Colleges, where she focuses on best pedagogical practices and educational trauma in writing classrooms. She is passionate about retention, OER, Writing Across the Curriculum, best teaching practices, and writing.
