Bio
Kelly is currently an Instructional Designer at Moraine Park Technical College and also provides librarian and citation support for Open RN and WisTech Open. Throughout her 15 years within the Wisconsin Technical College System, she has been an advocate for open education and information accessibility. Kelly led the OER and ZTC (Zero Textbook Cost) efforts at Lakeshore and helped students save over $2 million in textbook costs.
Kelly spent a decade as Library Manager at Lakeshore Technical College before transitioning into the role of Director of the Teaching & Learning Center at Lakeshore. She holds a Master’s in Library & Information Science (MLIS) from UW-Milwaukee, a Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE) from UW-Whitewater, and an Instructional Designer Certificate from the Online Learning Consortium (OLC).
