Bio
Mark Lorier has been an instructor in the Precision Machining and CNC Automation Technician programs at Lakeshore College since 2012. In this time, he has taught manufacturing and print reading courses to a diverse range of students, including those in high school, college, apprenticeships, and industry professionals. Prior to his time at Lakeshore, Mark had over 16 years of experience in the machining industry as a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker creating parts and tooling to meet the manufacturing needs of several local companies. In the Spring of 2000 Mark completed his Tool and Die apprenticeship program courses through Moraine Park Technical College. Mark’s dedication to student success has also been recognized by the American Association of Community Colleges, receiving it’s Dale P. Parnell Distinguished Faculty award in 2025.
