ESL/ELL OER: We Speak NYC

This lightning talk will introduce We Speak NYC, an OER suitable for WTCS ESL/ELL learners and instructors. We Speak NYC is the title of television series created by the New York City Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs and The City University of New York, that depicts the lives of working class immigrants. Topics of episodes include civics, community services, and other issues that many WTCS ESL/ELL learners face.
