The Library and the OER Consultation Process

Are you looking to engage faculty at your institution in OER or have you been tasked with finding OER, but aren’t even sure where to start? Join us, Chippewa Valley Technical College’s (CVTC) liaison librarians and OER Champions, for a panel presentation on our OER consultation process. CVTC is a growing leader in OER and we’re excited to share our expertise. We will begin by briefly discussing how we conduct the initial reference interview and analyze course outcomes to determine needs. We will also share our favorite OER search tools and describe the use of library resources as an affordable option. Then, we will open the floor for all your questions. Participants in this session can expect to walk away with a solid model for crafting the OER consultation process at their own institutions.
