In Fall of 2021, the University of Wisconsin-Superior designed and deployed our first Textbook Affordability Survey for students. The survey was voluntary, but even so we saw a surprising turnout, even without incentive. In this lightning talk, we will discuss the survey, the results, and implications for future survey instruments on this topic.
