Dr. Darrel Farmer is an Instructor of Communication Studies who holds a doctorate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Farmer brings his insights from a primary focus in rhetoric and a secondary focus in instructional communication to the educational space. He has 15 years of experience teaching in higher education and has taught at Central Michigan University, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Henderson State University, the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and Chippewa Valley Technical College. His interest in OER comes from being a first-generation college student himself and wanting to help provide free options for students to achieve a high-level education. His commitment to support economically diverse student populations drives him to be a leader within his field and his passionate enthusiasm is truly infectious.
