In January 2026, Wisc-Online transitioned to WisTech Open to better align with current educational standards and long-term goals. Games were also taken down, and the team is evaluating the possibility of adding them back in the future with accessibility and quality standards in mind.

Wisc-Online has supported millions of learners for over 20 years. It was time for a refresh! By moving to WisTech Open, we were able to continue offering free, high-quality learning resources on a more modern, sustainable platform.

The Play Games Arcade went offline at the time Wisc-Online moved to WisTech Open.

No, bookmarks to the old site stopped working after December 2025.

If instructors had downloaded and embedded Wisc-Online objects (like SCORM packages) into their LMS, those continued to work even after the Wisc-Online site transitioned to WisTech Open. These objects were self-contained and did not rely on the live site.
